Rehman Steel is proud to showcase our completed project for Mang & Co., a key Coca-Cola distributor in Faisalabad. Located at the Sidhar Bypass, this large-scale facility required a robust and spacious solution. Our team successfully managed the complete scope of work, delivering a 100×200 pre-engineered building (PEB) from the initial foundation to the final steel structure.
Foundation and Civil Works
A strong building starts with a solid base. Our team began with precise excavation and civil works, followed by the fabrication and installation of reinforced rebar cages. We then poured high-strength concrete to create stable, load-bearing foundations designed to support the massive steel structure.
J Bolt Installation
Precision is critical for the structural integrity of a PEB. Before the concrete cured, our engineers meticulously set heavy-duty J-bolts (anchor bolts) into the foundations. These bolts are perfectly aligned to ensure the main steel columns can be securely fastened to the concrete base.
Steel Fabrication & Protective Coating
Before erection begins, every steel component is fabricated and prepared at our facility. To ensure longevity and prevent corrosion, each column and rafter is meticulously coated with a high-quality primer. Following the primer, a durable, weather-resistant top coat of paint is applied, protecting the material and making it ready for on-site assembly.
Main Frame Erection
With the foundations ready, our erection crew began assembling the primary steel structure. Using cranes and certified riggers, we safely lifted and secured the main columns and rafters. As seen in the images, the 100×200 framework was rapidly assembled, forming the core skeleton of the building.
Purlin and Sheeting Installation
Once the main frame was in place, our team installed the secondary framing, including Z-purlins, which run horizontally along the roof and walls. These purlins provide the necessary support for the final cladding. High-quality profile sheets were then carefully installed on the roof and side walls to enclose the building.
Ridge, Trim, and Corner Installation
Attention to detail is key to a professional finish. In this final construction phase, our team installed all finishing elements, including ridge caps, corner trims, and custom flashings. This process ensures the building is completely weather-tight and provides a clean, aesthetic look.
Project Complete: A Facility Built to Last
The final result is a fully-functional and expansive distribution center for Mang & Co. Rehman Steel successfully delivered this 100×200 PEB project, demonstrating our expertise in managing and executing large-scale industrial construction from the ground up.
